    50th and 60th Reunion Cocktail Party
    4:30-6 p.m.
    Chancellor's House, 300 Comstock Avenue

    Reconnect with friends and classmates as you celebrate your milestone. Enjoy a special cocktail reception and kick off your reunion! Shuttles will pick up guests from all Orange Central hotels at 4 p.m. If you choose to drive, complimentary valet service will be available at the Chancellor’s House. At 6 p.m., shuttles will arrive at the Chancellor’s House to transport guests back to their hotels.

    When Running Made History: A Book Talk and Signing with Roger Robinson

    Attend a talk and book signing by Roger Robinson, author of When Running Made History, a vivid eyewitness account of running events that influenced the world. His book was published by Syracuse University Press in 2018. Robinson is a world-class runner, journalist, editor, and author of numerous books. He splits time between New York and New Zealand with his wife, women’s running activist Kathrine Switzer ’68, G’72, SU’s 2018 Commencement speaker.

    Whitman Annual Alumni Awards Ceremony and Reception

    Please join us as we recognize several deserving alumni for their exceptional professional accomplishments and dedicated service to the Whitman School and Syracuse University. The evening will feature the presentation of our alumni awards, including the Jonathan J. Holtz Alumnus of the Year, Whitman's highest alumni honor, followed by a reception to celebrate this year's distinguished honorees.

    University Lectures: A Conversation with George Saunders

    Registration is not required for this program.
    The University Lectures series is pleased to welcome Syracuse University professor George Saunders, bestselling and multiple-award winning author (Lincoln in the Bardo and Tenth of December), for an engaging conversation about his work and the art of writing. A section of Hendricks Chapel will be reserved for alumni attendees.
    Cost: No charge; all are welcome and registration is not required.
