    Syracuse University has a long and storied history of supporting the nation’s veterans and military-connected students. Visit the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs (OVMA) and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) to learn about SU’s history, including the longest continuously running Army ROTC program in the nation, former Chancellor William Tolley’s call to open the doors of the University to more than 10,000 World War II veterans, and stories of fellow alumni who served our great nation.     Walking Tour of Campus

    Explore campus during a one-hour walking tour led by student guides from the Office of Admissions’ U100 group. The weather in Syracuse can be fickle, so check out the local weather report, dress appropriately, and be prepared—the tour will go on, rain or shine! We also recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as the campus tour will be conducted entirely on foot. Please note in the disability-related accommodations section of the registration form if you will need golf cart transportation provided for this program.

    Join us at the former Hotel Syracuse for a special luncheon for our 50th and 60th Reunion classes, as well as for all Senior Citrus (those beyond their 60th Reunion) alumni. Alumni will be seated by class years, so you can enjoy conversation and reconnect with former classmates. Hear brief remarks from representatives of the Classes of 1958 and 1968 and Senior Citrus.     Whitman's Fourth Annual Orange Tank business-pitch competition will offer alumni and guests the opportunity to see student and alumni entrepreneurs pitch their ventures to a panel of accomplished judges. In addition to valuable feedback from the judges, the top three student and alumni presenters will win cash prizes to help advance their businesses. The competition will be followed by a networking reception.

    “Forbidden Fruit: Yasuo Kuniyoshi’s America” Gallery Tour

    Join the SUArt Galleries for a special tour of the exhibition Forbidden Fruit: Yasuo Kuniyoshi’s America, exploring the life and career of the noted 20th-century Japanese American artist. Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University.

Check out the old reel-to-reel alongside all the digital equipment! The tour concludes in the Alvin Perlmutter Student Lounge, home of the WAER Hall of Fame wall, where you can snack on WAER cookies, view our scrapbooks, and receive a special WAER button!

    We Remember Them: The Legacy of Pan Am Flight 103 Exhibition Tour

    This year marks the 30th anniversary of the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 on December 21, 1988, over Lockerbie, Scotland. Through a selection of original documents, photographs, and other archival materials, this exhibition documents not only the terrorist act itself, but the lives of those lost and the ways they have been remembered. Join the Pan Am 103 archivist and exhibition curator, Vanessa St. Oegger-Menn, for a guided tour.

    Join us for an evening that celebrates all returning alumni and honors our alumni award recipients! The evening begins with a cocktail hour where you can enjoy drinks, food stations, and conversation, followed by the George Arents, Melvin Eggers Senior Alumni, and Generation Orange awards presentation. The after-party with live music and desserts will be held in Panasci Lounge after the awards celebration. Communication Access Real-Time Translation (CART) will be provided.

    The George Arents Award is Syracuse University’s highest alumni honor, created to recognize those who are pioneers and leaders in their fields. This year’s honorees are Emme ’85; Kevin Bell ’74, H’16; Sharon Brangman, MD, ’77; Joseph Strasser ’53, G’58; and Abdallah Yabroudi ’78, G’79.

    The Melvin Eggers Senior Alumni Award recognizes senior alumni for loyalty and service. This year’s honorees are Larry Bashe ’66, G’68; Helen Lefkowitz ’60; and Fred Silverman ’58. 

    The Generation Orange Award is presented to young alumni who have made significant contributions to their communities and to the University. This year’s honorees are Evin Floyd Robinson ’12, G’14 and Jessica Santana ’11, G’13.

The Army ROTC will sponsor a family-fun zone with cornhole toss, giant Jenga, washer toss, and football toss.

    Rehearse with fellow Marching Band alumni and meet our new band director, Professor Tim Diem. After rehearsal, there will be a networking opportunity with current band members and fellow alumni on field. This event is required if you wish to play with the band during Saturday's pregame performance on the field.     Join faculty and graduate students for a rare opportunity to climb the winding staircase and gaze at the stars through our historic 1887 telescope. Tours are offered every 15 minutes, weather permitting. Space is limited for each tour and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
